Summary

The presentation on "Enhancing Coordination for Effective Implementation of DRR Policies" was prepared and shared by Dr. Raju Thapa, Vice Chair of DPNet Nepal during the Second National Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction (NCDRR). This presentation includes the policies regarding DRR, Case Studies, and outcomes after the policies were implemented, indicator-wise data of the past few years, pictural representations and demonstrations of vulnerable construction practices, road traffic accidents, and the preparedness to safeguard lives and properties with a question mark on the effectiveness and adequacy of the preparedness practices we follow, along with the issues related to coordination on implementing the DRR related policies, and the ways to address those issues.
