Summary

The presentation on Strategic Environmental Assessment was delivered by B.R. Manandhar. Throughout the years, SEA has gained acknowledgment as an environmental assessment approach that can support policymakers, planners, and decision-makers in their Policy, Planning, and Programmatic (PPP) choices. It has continuously evolved, expanding into a suite of tools that address decision-making at various levels, ranging from policy development to program implementation. This expansion has made SEA increasingly interconnected with the realm of project Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA).
