Nepal Earthquake Response: Two year report

Summary

This report provides an overview of the seismic events that occurred during this period, notably the devastating earthquake on April 25, 2015, which was the most significant earthquake in Nepal in 80 years, as well as the subsequent earthquake on May 12, resulting in the tragic loss of 9,000 lives and injuries to 22,000 individuals. The report delineates the efforts undertaken by Save the Children in collaboration with the National Reconstruction Authority and various Central Project Implementation Units from different ministries. These endeavors primarily focused on activities such as constructing secure housing, building safe schools, enhancing food security and livelihoods, and establishing healthcare facilities.
