Landslide Hazard Mapping Along the Beni-Lete Road Section, Myagdi-Mustang Districts, Western Nepal

Summary

This study is focused on the landslide-prone Beni–Lete road corridor in western Nepal, this research applied a weighted factor approach to prepare landslide hazard maps. Validation using ROC curves showed strong performance (AUC 81.9%), confirming the reliability of the model. The findings highlight vulnerable road segments, emphasizing the need for preventive engineering measures and continuous monitoring to ensure road safety along this vital Kaligandaki corridor.
