Benchmarking Community Disaster Resilience in Nepal
Summary
This study builds a village/municipality-level Community Disaster Resilience Index using 22 indicators (guided by the DROP model) and PCA across 3,971 local units. Finds higher resilience around Kathmandu and parts of the western hills, and lower resilience across much of the Tarai, evidence useful for targeting DRR investments.
