The study report contributes to a continued call for more and better DRR financing in humanitarian and crisis contexts. Ensuring effective DRR financing in humanitarian and crisis settings should be of significant concern for all actors across the humanitarian-development-peace (HDP) nexus.

The study suggests several recommendations to strengthen DRR reporting and integration in humanitarian and crisis situations. These include enhancing the tracking and disclosure of DRR funding to improve donor targeting and funding accuracy, integrating DRR into sector and cluster priorities while addressing capacity gaps, prioritizing engagement with donors supportive of DRR financing in crises, and encouraging funders to view DRR innovations as opportunities for high-impact investments within their limited portfolios. These measures aim to bolster the effectiveness of DRR efforts in such settings.
