GIS-based quantitative landslide hazard prediction modelling in natural hillslope, Agra Khola watershed, central Nepal
Summary
A quantitative approach of statistical analysis was selected to develop a predictive model for landslide hazard in the Agra Khola watershed of central Nepal due to existence of limitation in the deterministic models as it needs geo-material data (mechanical properties, water saturation, etc.), which are difficult to obtain over large areas (Terlien et al. 1995).
