Formation of Sphere Coordination Committee
Kathmandu, 6th November 2019, 'Sphere Nepal' broader meeting of 6th November has decided to formed 'Sphere Coordination Committee' consisting of 17 members from various organizations (7 members from DPNet-Raju Thapa, NDMF-Deepak Poudel, NRCS-Mona Aryal, CDMS- Krishna Karki, DiMaNN-Bishnu Timilsina, AINTGDMCC-Dinesh Gurung, Mercy Corps-Bhesh Parajuli and 10 full members of sphere (Act Alliance, ADRA, CARE, Caritas, IFRC, LWF, Oxfam, Plan Int., Save the Children and WVI). As DPNet-Nepal as a country focal point of Sphere, the meeting unanimously nominated Mr. Raju Thapa (General Secretary of DPNet-Nepal) as a Coordinator of 'Sphere Coordination Committee'. The initiation of the formation of the Sphere coordination committee goes back to the Sphere Nepal broader meeting on 18th October 2019.
