We are pleased to inform you that DPNet-Nepal has prepared the final draft
of the long term strategy of the DPNet-Nepal with kind contribution from
Mr. Man Bahadur Thapa and Mr. Dipendra Purush Dhakal with lots of feedback
from other respected scholars. We are in process to give a final look
after getting feedback from our partner/member organizations. In this
regard, DPNet-Nepal is organizing a day workshop (Draft schedule is
attached herewith) on 2nd Jan 2009 in order to discuss and get your
feedback on the draft strategy.
The main purpose of the workshop is to discuss on the draft strategy and
get your valuable input that will assist DPNet-Nepal to finalize the
strategy for its sustainability. In the same day, Mr. Man Bahadur Thapa
will present a paper on “Mainstreaming DRR in South Asia-Challenges and
Opportunities”. We, therefore, would like to request you for your active
participation in the workshop.
